5 Things That Made My Week #350

1. Fishing with my friend. We knew we probably wouldn't get anything and... we didn't. 

2. I'm not a betting person but some friends and I decided we would see who could pick the fastest horse.  I got it right. 

3. Staying in the ocean getting beaten down by waves, and getting L&P and icecream afterwards while still in my wetsuit. 

4. This. Drink. Is. Amazing. If a store in NYC stocked this I would have no reason to return to New Zealand. Kidding.

5.  I was sent an email today from, Melissa, one of the contributors from PEARL + HAMMER. This happened to her today: 

"Today I was minding my own business, getting a coffee and then this happened..

Girl serving me: "Heeyyy... Were you in Pearl + Hammer?"

Me: Confused for a second because I was awake at 4am this morning.. "Yes, I was"

Girl: "That's so cool! Congratulations on pearl + hammer"

Me: "Thanks so much.  It's not actually mine, I was just lucky enough to be in the first issue, but I'll be sure to pass this onto Morgs who created it."

Girl: "When's the next issue come out" 

THIS IS SO COOL. Made my day. PEARL +  HAMMER is getting out there.
