A Christmas Post #448

Insert usual blab about how I've been slack at blogging. Lame Lame Lame. Today is Christmas, in England. I have pretty much had the most 'traditional' Christmas ever, like, ever. ever. I woke up to find Santa had left two stockings on the end of the bed. Don't think I've ever had a real stocking, ever. After starting the day with nice meal of chocolate I got dressed in my christmas jumper - yes, one of 'those' jumpers. Then it was off to Christmas present opening in the lounge room at 11am (sharp). Strange but cute. Each present had a clue on it so you had to guess what was in them first - also quite strange. I was given a present to see War Horse in the West End when I head back to London [hashtag] nerd activities. But, possibly my favourite present - Beyonce's new album. Holla. That DVD. Dayum. You seen dat shit? Get on that. Cray. After present time we all sat for the Queen's speech at 3pm (no, not Beyonce - I wish.) That was an event. Liz had lots to say about her friend who was in hospital or some shit. Then it was time to drink a small goblet of port before lunch. English people drink, heaps. Did I say I went to the pub last night and drank tequila? Like, what the what. Apparently that's normal on Christmas Eve, but anyway that's a diffo story. And after the Queen had spoken (again, not Beyonce - as one would prefer) we went to the sitting room for lunch. Like, a sit down lunch. With Christmas themed napkins. And, a Christmas quiz whilst dessert was being prepared. Anyway, I'm off to nurture my food baby. Merry Christmas wherever you are I hope you had a wonderful day. Don't know about you, but I feel like I learnt something today. Success.
Oh yeah, that orange thing. That's a Christingle. Google it. Did that too. Weird.
TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS: Check.
