Eating, Drinking, and Fisting #108

Just the menu at the restaurant. Take a second look,
This blog entry may be completely uncensored and out of order because of the craziness that ensued. So to the grammar nazi's I apologize and to my grandparents I say "skip this part". Tonight I went to a Japanesse restaurant with a friend I literally made yesterday. We got to the restaurant and they were playing dictator music through megaphones. Just picture yourself in 1920's military uniform marching for some old bastard who wants you to fight for him to acquire more land. Yes, that was the dinner ambience this restaurant set. Then it got even better when the menus we were given looked like the above picture (Take a second look at  the illustrations). How pleasant. They really out did themselves. However, I tried my first ever sake bomb there and lets just say it blew my mind.

After feeling like we had been violated (strangely in a good way) we left that restaurant and headed to Brooklyn. This time I got to be the tour guide for which bars to go to. I was awesome. After a couple of glasses of whiskey I said something funny to which I followed with "fist me". No not 'fist me' as in what you're thinking. As in 'pound it'. Oh whatever. You know what I mean. That thing you do when you hit your knuckles together with another person. Watch this clip. Yeah that. I think I rose to a new level on comedic-ness with that one. Shit. Don't say that in America.

Peace, Morgs

In my book, this is noteworthy #93

Noteworthy this week:
  1. 'Boy' playing at East Village Cinemas in New York City (see above).
  2. This rough track I made when I woke up this morning. I was half asleep and woke up with it playing over in my head so this is what happened. Forgive the timing.
  3. This song is so vulgar but I love it. You should see me gangstarr it up on the train. Rack Rack City.
  4. The short video about my day. Y'all seemed to like it. Did you see it? Make sure you watch it in HD. Churr.
  5. Finding a new apartment with some awesome kiwi's! Upper West Side here we come on May 1st! That means no more 'hood tales' or Jerusalem escapades. Hear that? That's the sound of safety.
  6. Getting A-class service at a mexican restaurant, whilst writing a song. So much so that the couple next to me asked where they had seen me. I didn't want to disappoint so I said I was in Whale Rider. They didn't know what that was, but when I said it got an Oscar nomination they gave the collective 'ahhhhhhh'.
  7. The movie Project X is actually bearable. I usually find those movies mind numbing and unlaugh-worthy. I'd give it a solid 7.5/10. Mildly hilarious.
  8. Emails from home.
Not so noteworthy:
  1. Oreo's for dinner because there is nothing else in this neighbourhood except for KOSHER yogurt & fairy biscuits. Fark!
  2. Coming home on the train at 3am from a night in the city only to be pulled off the train by two cops asking for our I.D. We were baffled. Turns out the girl I was with had her feet resting on the seat in front of her. All I could think was please dear god-jesus-mohummad-budda-man dude with all the power in the universe, don't let me get deported. I'm still here. But $50 ticket for the other girl. I was a little tipsy so I may have let my big mouth say, "Dude you guys just need to come to New Zealand and learn to chill the f*** out". Followed by "Go arrest some real criminals like guys in my neighbourhood that order hookers all night". The officer replied, "Them Jews definitely know how to make it rain". Uncool NYPD, uncool. Note: leave your feet firmly on the floor whilst riding the subway.
