That Indescribable New York Energy & Goodbye Washington #279

I'm off back to New Yawk tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited! It's a strange thing being away for New York. You get so fed up with it that you are like,"Screw it! I'm getting out of here". But as soon as you leave you crave that energy that is indescribable. You can feel it the minute you hit the city limits. It's like an invisible glow, everyone knows it exists but no-one can explain it. It's true, it really is a place like no other. As a farewell to Washington I give you some of the most historical things I've seen.

The White House, Martin Luther King, and Giant Abe Lincoln #271

From Waihi Beach to the White House. Not bad. Some more snaps from my time in Washington! Yes I did stand on the very spot where Martin Luther King Jr said that speech. Waah. SO SO cool.

Welcome to Washington - I've done it again #270

Remember how I said I was going to Nashville? Long story short, the bus takes 23 hours, not 10 as I first thought. Thus, welcome to Washington DC. If you remember a while back I was travelling and staying in different places, and each time I would some how find myself in the craziest living situations? Well surprise it's happened again. I don't even know how I found this place to be honest, but in a last minute decision I clicked, I saw, and I paid. Fast forward to now and I'm sitting somewhere in the suburbs of Washington DC, I could be inland or by the sea (I'm not too sure), in a semi-sorority house. I mean it's not a bad place to be staying but it's definitely not your average travel digs.
