Surprise, well not really, but I'm putting together a book of this past year. It includes all the funniest things that have happened to me aka falling off a bunk bed and landing upside down on my neck with my legs in the air. And that time I spent like 2 hours sitting with Macaulay Culkins family, and untold stuff like when I had dinner with this family who I did not realize were the parents of one of the biggest pop stars in the world. And, that time I nearly died in a shootout (exaggerated for effect). Or when Paris Hilton stopped and posed for me and I had no idea who she was. Also included are a plethora of poems I wrote on the subway whilst watching crazy people talk, dance and shit themselves. Oh and lastly there are a tonne of photos I took such as the ones below which are actually double page spreads. Awesome. Don't ask for a deadline because this is turning out to be quite a lengthy task. Just know I'm committed to it. Possibly in the next month or two if this publishing shizz sorts itself out.

Published Stuff - New York Fashion Week #273
It is so cool to see something you've written in print for others to read. Throughout the year I have been sending fashion articles back to New Zealand and this is my second to last. It's one I'm really proud of - (minus the grammatical error). Have a read by clicking here. Just a quick thank you to everyone that reads this each day or week or month. I really do appreciate it. I refrained from directly telling the majority of my friends about my blog, just so I could watch it grow organically. And it has! Half of the people who correspond with me through thisismorgs.com, I've never met before. And that, to me, is freaking awesome. Thank you! And keep spreading the word.

A Mexican Party with Friends #126
The joys of hosting a party:
Tonight my flatmates and I hosted a mexican party. It was filled with mojitos and moustaches. I rocked the pedophile look. F.Y.I it's not a mexican party until someone drops their laptop in a mojito and then attempts to climb a ladder to the rooftop. TRUE STORY. I love you New York.
Sorry I forgot to add my published stuff from last week so here goes:

What am I doing? & Published Fashion Stuff #75
It's print time again.
DRESSING LIKE A BOSS
How to Survive the Wintour
Check out my full fashion article by clicking here.
Check out my awesome social media-ness by cursing your cursor here.
I thought I'd share a rough outline of what I do everyday (Mon to Sat). Everybody is asking me so lets all sit down for story time.
Morgs Day
7am-9am // wake up slap self in the face and get dressed. Possibly shower. Pee.
9-9:30am // answer emails, check blog etc.
9:30-10am // on train to Manhattan (if crazy landlord hasn't stopped to tell me his problems). Read Bossypants.
10:10am-11:30am // write 1st article
11:30am-1pm // Research for a fashion website I'm working for.
1pm-1:15pm // lunch/breakfast
1:15-1:30pm // stop at guitar shop to play. Realize your the only girl there and start showing up the boys.
1:30pm-2pm // Work on designs for art collective collaboration
2pm-3pm // Work on second article
3pm-4pm // go to The MET for inspiration
4-4:30pm // find somewhere to poo. Kidding. Think about dinner.
4:30pm-5pm // Sketch and research for own projects.
5pm-6pm // Work on articles that need finishing
6pm-6:30pm // ring someone to mull over ideas
6:30-7:30pm // Look for actual good paying side job
7:30-8pm // Find train to Brooklyn hood. Read Bossypants.
8:15-8:30pm walk home. Avoid landlords crazy stories.
8:30-9:30pm // Look for places to live
9:30-10:30pm // stress about money, living, world peace etc (normal people stuff)
10:30pm-midnight // Blog, Photoshop
midnight-1am // make family calls
1-2am // answer emails, blog check up.
2am // Sleep
Repeat.
It varies a little depending on work stuff but that's the basic model. It's definitely GO GO GO.
It's 2am and I'm a little behind schedule so you know what that means
And I'm out.
Peace, Morgs

Social Media-isms + Published Stuff #60
Once again you can read what I wrote that some awesome, but crazy, fool decided to publish (click click click). I thank you good sir. Thank you very much.
and the best part:
I've linked the first article that you can see above, but here's the second I wrote all about Social Media funnies. Twitter is better than most standup comedians. Seriously.
This week in the twitterverse we got the best of live tweets from the Oscar's, a just-got-home-from-partying tweet courtesy of Justin Bieber, and a deep thought from Kim Kardashian (always entertaining). I also included the twitisdom from various others who always make us feel better about our own lives, either because their's is so shit or because they penetrate our brains with encouraging thoughts. Whatever.

The week started with so much anticipation for the Oscar's. I was lucky enough to be at the red carpet and I squealed like a deformed mouse when Bret MacKenzie strutted his stuff. I think W Magazine summed up what we we're all thinking when he won:
‘Really wishing Bret McKenzie would break into "Business Time" #Oscars’
Kim Kardashian showed her money making brand conscious word vomit in a comment about Marilyn Monroes royalties. She makes a good point, if you forget the whole 'she's Kim Kardashian' thing. Don't underestimate the Kardashian's they come across as oblivious to the world, but be wary because I'm pretty sure they're in the midst of a Coke a Cola-esque world domination phase. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife (you know how the rest goes).
‘If Marilyn Monroe has no family or children, who makes all of that money off the usage of her HUGE brand? Her name must rake in so much $$$’
Incase you live behind an impenetrable (bar this column) Justin Bieber invisible cloak you may not have been aware that it was his birthday this week. I have nothing against the kid. He's killing it while we all sit and watch. But I did happen to stumble across this 2am Twitter magic he posted after getting home from his party. Welcome to the world of I-must-not-drunk-tweet.
Justin Bieber
@justinbieber
‘swaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg’
Whilst staying on the 'swaaaaag wagon' one of our very own shared some brilliant swaggyness. I have nothing to say except if modeling fails you are totally self sufficient.

I am PUBLISHED! #54
Excerpt from THE LIST.
6. Get published in a magazine
Yes that's right! Thanks to a very cool friend (www.ceapum.com) I am now published. It's no Vogue but that doesn't matter to me. I get to talk crap and have people read about it. What could be better? Check it out . Thanks to the team at AUT I appreciate it. Read it online by clicking here.
I am nearly on my way back to New York City! However, I am in need of somewhere to stay. So if you know people who know people who have a sweet corner I can chill in at their loft, that would be amazing. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife (you know how the rest goes).
And I'm out.
Peace, Morgs
p.s If you have any suggestions about how I should spend my last days in L.A, please, do tell. I'm open to living your dream for you.
