1. Went to the final talk with Young Guru (aka Jay-Z's producer). It. Was. Epic. You know when you can feel your in a room that just has crazy energy? Like you feel as if what you're talking about is 'next level' stuff. And you can't really comprehend what's going on but you know it's big. Yeah, it was that kind of epic. I can't really do it justice by writing about it because it would be impossible to recreate that atmosphere - a had-to-be-there moment. Let's just say don't be oblivious to the power of social networks. If you want to read some of what went on check it out here.
2. I was doing some exercise in Central Park when a thunderstorm hit. I slipped over on the ground and some guy helped me up. He looked at my 'Miami Heat' t-shirt then said, "Not such a great team after all". Dick. I'm not even a huge basketball fan but seriously?! What a doosh.
3. My 'Person to Watch' this week is Winston Anthony. Honestly, check out his music - it's so rad. I have no doubt this dude is going to be massive. And, he's repping NZ like cray.
4. Planning some fashion shots around NYC. Hunting for an old mechanics shop. I'm feeling like I'm defo going to have to head to Brooklyn. Dammit.
5. Spent Saturday chillin' in the city. Nothing like a bit of the MET museum followed by Chinatown-ing.
