The Weekly Wrap x2 - Jay Z, Washington, P E A R L + H A M M E R #278

1. I announced that I would be collaborating on a new project called P E A R L + H A M M E R. It's coming along. I am over excited. I am scared. I am doing a million things at once.

2. I moved out of my Upper West Side apartment digs. I was a little sad but it was DEFINITELY time for a change. Changing it up is good.

3. I have an awesome kiwi friend who works as a sound engineer at a recording studio in midtown. I got to chill in Busta Rhymes studio/the same place that Kanye & Estelle's American Boy was recorded. Shameless name drop, but they're people I respect. While we chilled in the studio we listened to some old school Jay-Z before heading over to the 3rd of his 8 concerts at the Barclay's Center.

4. Jay-Z's concert was as life altering as ever. I was hoping for a Beyonce appearance but that didn't come until the last concert. Next time B, next time. Isn't this cuuuttte?!

5. The day after the concert I headed to Washington DC on a Greyhound bus. It was vay-cay time whilst I searched for a new apartment. I planned on going to Nashville but alas it's a bit further than I thought.

6. It's my last few days in DC before I head back to NYC. I'm coming home!
