1. I went to Queens twice! That place isn't so bad. It has it's moments - good and bad.
2. Six60 played live in New York Cit-ay! Myself and a few friends decided we'd head on over. Turned into one big kiwi meetup. It was pretty much a concert full of the who's who of kiwi music. Check out the photos here.
3. I tried the drink 'Four Loko' for the first time. It's apparently illegal but obviously up in Harlem they just don't care. It's like a combination of absinth and 5 hour energy. Shit gets cray pretty quickly.
4. I rapped Empire State of Mind live in a bar in New York City. Check it out here.
5. This girl HAS to win X-Factor. She. Is. Incredible.
6. If you have a few spare moments check out this movie. It's a favourite of mine and I was lucky enough to go to the premiere. I LOVE it. It is about rap; however, I think it speaks for all creative mediums. Check it out. You can find the full version here.
7. Apart from those fun nights out, I have been working my ass off! And now I need some sleep so caio kids.

Deleteok! x-factor talk! tehe! I agree, Carly is really good! but I feel like one of Simon's groups have a good chance, because they've got his backing! Also I think Cece or Willie Jones might win? Cece has a disadvantage though, cause she started off being a bitch! LOL
ReplyDeleteFrom musical stand point she has got the strongest voice in the competition (skill), she's got the look (market), and she's got the attitude (rapport). Not only that but her social media involvement is higher than any of the others. He video video views are increasing exponentially comparative to any of the others from this season and last. Even if she get's 2nd or 3rd I say we'll be seeing a lot of her. Yeah Simons group have all that too but with groups comes conflict and you have more arrangements to get right i.e with harmonies, dance etc. They have the look but whether they can keep it together and keep progressing to the 'next' level is a diffo story. I'm sorry but Cece's voice and demeanor is something the world has heard before. A million times over. And her attitude is not at ALL the greatest. And the look? It is original but it's dated.
