New York After Midnight #286

Tonight was filled with fun times. Unfortunately one of our NYC clique-sters is off home to New Zealand, so we had a little farewell dinner followed by me making them all pose for photos. It only seems appropriate that you listen to this whilst scrolling through these photos.

Cliche New York Moment (FML) #144

Cliché New York Moment:
Met up with some friends to grab dinner. Got caught in a torrential down pour. Gave up all hope of finding shelter and instead embraced the rain. All for Shake Shack. My life just hit an all-time low.

I'll be blogging you from somewhere really exciting tomorrow. It may or may not include casinos.

Peace, Morgs

The Unintentional Inebriation (Weekly Wrap) #142

The next day I found this in my handbag (I'm top left I believe)
I was having a conversation with a friend a few hours ago and she mentioned that somewhere in the craziness of Saturday night I asked her (over the phone) to "Google Maps" my location. She was in a completely different part of the country. I knew little of where I was except I was somewhere in Brooklyn. It's ok, I was with friends.

Why am I telling you this? Good question. It was not my finest hour and I'd rather not share my night out  publicly, but I feel there's something to be gained. Thus, let the embarrassment continue.

You know when you really don't plan to go out and it ends up turning in to a mini adventure? No? Well, for example, imagine you plan to go and watch a live band at a bar in Brooklyn around at 2pm. You decide to have a drink in the sun. The bar conveniently ends up offering free drinks. It gets to 4pm and you've forgotten how many you've had. You meet a little Indian female film director, who is probably very talented in her own right, but her conversation is so excruciatingly boring that you end up drinking your feelings. She then starts talking about her sci-fi film that is based on female period blood curing a disease that threatens to end the world. Your eyes glaze over. You drink some more. You and your friends get a little freaked out that she keeps taking photos of you. You drink more.

PPF: Ginnifer Goodwin, Ellen's Carpark & on the set of FRIENDS

It's that time again. Here's some of what I've done this week, in photos, it includes: Ginnifer Goodwin who poped up at our local shopping center 'The Grove', Ellen's carpark and office building that we some how convinced our tour driver to bypass, and on the set of FRIENDS. Enjoy!
And I'm out.
Peace, Morgs
p.s that is the original friends couch, no b.s!

Photo Profile Friday : The West Village #13

Photo Profile Friday. The whole point of this is to let the photos tell you what's going on. Today I took a wander in The West Village; it's a little 'Sex in the City' but I like it.
p.s for all you friends fans, that building in the top right hand corner is the one used in the exterior shots for the show. However, I highly doubt they could base any of the characters out of this neighbourhood now. Rent is about about $4000p/m +. Ouch.

And I'm out.
