One of the best gallries in New York is called The Hole. The owner is so hilarious that she took the piss out of her own good looks and posed for Playboy. At the moment they have an exhibition on called Portraits of a Generation. They've collected some of the best artists in NYC to create portraits of each other - even Yoko Ono did one.
Sadly one of my favourite places, The Bowery Poetry Club, closed last week. This place has been home to some of the biggest names in pop culture. I'm glad I got to be a part of it. As a closing gift to NYC culture they left several boxes of books out front with a sign saying 'Free Knowledge'. I inherited a few.
I found this little girl up my street trying to be Marilyn Monroe over the subway grate. Hilarious.
I love the streets where I live. So pretty.
